Summer Camps at Hill House

For 50 years, Hill House has been running summer youth camps full of fun, friendship, faith and adventure.

Attending our summer camp is a highlight of the year for many young people as they make lifelong memories, build strong friendships, and learn more about Jesus.

On Weeks A, B and C:

  • Children aged 11-17 stay in canvas tents in our camping field

  • Each tent has five to eight children who are guided through the week by a friendly Tent Officer

  • There is a busy programme for the week featuring communal meals, sports, activities, crafts, and Bible studies

  • Each evening, there is a meeting featuring an encouraging message from a Christian speaker, a time of sung worship, and more fun and games.

Explore Week:

  • Children sleep in the bedrooms of the main house (not tents!)

  • The programme for the week involves team-building games, sports, competitions, crafts, a film night, a disco, singing, stories from the Bible, and time in the swimming pool

  • ‘House Parents’ take care of everyone’s needs, with children separated into smaller groups for activities and meals.
