Dan Hunter – Centre Manager

Hi my name is Dan and I love Hill House. Like many of you, Hill House is a very special place to me and I have encountered Gods presence here many times. Being part of the team at Hill House has been really special since joining in 2019 and have seen how God reaches people from the different groups who come here.

My love of walking has extended since joining Hill House as there are so many great walks around, especially the beautiful Quantock Hills.

The job here is varied with lots of different tasks that need to be carried out which keeps me on my toes. I feel really blessed that God has called me to be a part of the team here and I look forward to where He will take Hill House next.

Megan & Dan White – Team Workers

Hey! Our names are Meg & Dan, We were called to work at Hill House in January 2025.

Meg – I am currently on Maternity leave after giving birth to my First child – Archi at the end of 2025. When not on maternity leave I work as a team worker & I’ve learned a lot about Hill House and what it means to so many people. I am so grateful to be working in a place where God is so present! We have two wonderful dogs called Mabli & Lilo.

Dan – I grew up coming to Hill House Summer Camps and it was a big part of my faith journey. I worked as an outdoor instructor before coming to Hill House to work, and look forward to using my skills to help develop the Hill House work.

We love walks out in nature and we absolutely love hiking up in the mountains. We also enjoy some white water kayaking, sea kayaking/surfing and we are sometimes partial to the odd rock climb or two!

Jon Harris – Team Worker

Hi I’m Jon and the first time I came to Hill House was in 1976 when my parents come on a work party. Since then I’ve been on summer camps for most of my childhood and other events. It was at Hill House that I made the decision to follow Jesus. It’s also the place where I met my wife Lesley, so Hill House holds a special place in my life. So when the opportunity to be involved here came along, it was an easy decision to make.

My heart is that everyone that comes to HH finds it a place of great blessing,where they can encounter God and a place of rest and fulfilment.

Outside of work I enjoy Listen to music, motorbikes, football and visiting the coastal areas of Devon and meeting up with friends for live gigs.

Caleb Fox – Team Worker

Hi my name is Caleb, and I first came to Hill House in the Summer of 2025 on Explore.

I quickly came to love the place, and I felt God’s presence and peace whilst on camp. I wanted to be apart of the team and help give the visitors of Hill House the same I felt during camp.

I applied for the job opportunity and got it! I hope that  I can add to the team whilst also learning from the people around me.

I love hiking, walking, and motorbike camping and exploring God’s creation.

I’m waiting to see what Gods will is for me at Hill House and what’s next in my Journey
