Team Worker
Fancy joining our small friendly team at Hill House Christian Centre?
Hill House is a Christian conference centre with a strong Christian ethos providing accommodation and activities to churches, Christian groups, school residentials and summer youth camps.
We are looking for a people person with a calling to serve God as a Team Worker in our residential conference centre. The post holder will support the Centre Manager with the successful operation of the conference centre. Ideally you will have an administrative skill set, be able to support with the site upkeep and demonstrate a willingness to serve our guests as we facilitate the buildings and site for the groups that stay. Our aim, which you will help us to deliver, is to facilitate an environment where guests are able to explore, find and grow in the Christian faith.

Salary: £18,439 included in an equivalent total remuneration package of £30,079

Due to both the nature and/ or context of the role, an occupational requirement applies for the post holder to be a Christian in full agreement with our Statement of Faith. The post holder should be committed to the purpose of Hill House Christian Centre and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support and contribute to its Christian ethos, Basis of Faith and Mission Statement. This role requires the post holder to live on site. Accommodation is included in the remuneration package. You will also need to hold a lifeguard qualification but training will be provided to the successful candidate.
As part of our commitment to Safeguarding the post holder is required to have a cleared DBS. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for those unable to provide a valid certificate on the Update Service.
Benefits
Our standard working week is 37.5 hours although additional ad hoc hours and weekend rota working is also a requirement.
We are offering a salary of £18,439 included in an equivalent total remuneration package of £30,079.
We offer 33 days paid annual leave per year, inclusive of bank and public holidays, or days off in lieu where you are required to work on such days.
